AmaSing We Rise
Chester Cathedral 2026
Thank you for registering to be part of our brand-new singing project!
We are thrilled to welcome your school to AmaSing We Rise 2026 — a powerful creative journey celebrating Black voices, culture, and identity through music, dance, art, and drama.
Your pupils will learn a collection of well-known songs alongside one brand-new collaboratively composed piece, created by children with our professional creative team.
The project supports creativity, wellbeing, mental health, confidence, and curriculum learning across Music, PSHE, and Creative Arts.

🕒 Plan of the Day – Chester Cathedral Shows
- Arrive at school as normal
- Travel to Chester Cathedral for 2:00pm
- Rehearsal with live band: 2:30–5:00pm
- Tea break: 5:00–6:30pm
- Packed tea in a disposable bag
- Children may eat in the refectory
- Optional film shown at 5:30pm
- Schools may also take children off-site under their own risk assessment
- Return to positions: 6:45pm
- Doors open: 7:00pm
- Performance: 7:30–8:30pm
- Children leave with school staff
- Collections must happen outside the Cathedral grounds or back at school under your risk assessment
🎟 Ticket Information – Chester Cathedral
Tickets will be released via the AmaSing Box Office in June 2026:
- 5 June – First Release: 2 tickets per child
- 8 June – General Release: all remaining tickets
Important Ticket Notes:
- Tickets cost £19 + booking fee
- Early limit of 2 tickets per child to ensure fairness
- Additional tickets will be released later – dates announced on AmaSing social media (Facebook, Instagram, X)
- Families must purchase the correct facing seat for their school’s performance
