The Countess of Chester – During our Fusion projects and the pandemic we have been supporting this charity. We worked online with key workers and young people and created an inspiring song dedicated to all keyworkers during the pandemic called “ Not All Heroes Wear Capes” We also created a film with key workers and young people singing and dancing to the song which we released on many social media platforms and raised money for the charity. This song is part of our new projects for 2021/22 and will be sung by thousands of children in the UK and abroad. We have raised £1500 for this charity.

The Countess Charity is probably best known in the community for the Babygrow Appeal. However the team works with the local community, corporates and grant making trusts to raise money for over 80 funds across the hospital – each one making a real difference to patient care. We are one of more than 300 registered charities in the UK associated with NHS hospitals or organisations. Together these charities contribute £400million each year to patient care. Our aim is not to fund patient care, but to enhance and improve it, providing grants for projects that are over and above those served by government funding.
