WELCOME TO THE AMASING ARTS

CHARITY FOUNDATION

Our mission is to maintain, improve and advance creative arts education for all children, young people and communities supporting their wellbeing, confidence and self-esteem. We are passionate about providing inspiring arts opportunities for all and keeping arts alive in schools and communities.

AmaSing Arts Primary Objectives

Develop and deliver arts workshops to children and young people.

Deliver CPD workshops and projects within the arts to teachers, student teachers and arts students.

Provide work experience and opportunities to young people who would like to study education and performing arts.

AmaSing Workshops

In our projects we deliver exciting and inspiring arts workshops run by professional musicians and arts specialists. Our workshops are inclusive to all children and young people no matter on their needs, ability, background, culture, gender or age. We often collaborate with different groups in our workshops such as families, the elderly, adults with learning difficulties. Through the arts we build on community cohesion and bring together many different groups who otherwise  would not get a chance to work together. Our workshops specialise in Music, Singing, Art, Drama, Dance, Creative Writing and Media. We value everyones contribution in these workshops and celebrate their achievements. We run workshops in schools, educational establishments, community spaces and hospitals.

AmaSing Professional Development Opportunities

Our workshops offer CPD opportunities and supports professional development for teachers and student teachers. They give help to develop skills and knowledge to teachers enabling them to deliver singing, music and arts to the daily school curriculum. The workshops are also open to students in Performing Arts and those have an interest in Community Arts Projects.

Artsmark / Arts Award

AmaSing projects can support your school on their journey to achieve ArtsMark and Arts Awards. AmaSIng has become a partner with Artsmark and is working closely with Curious Minds to develop more opportunities to expand Arts in schools in the North West and North Wales. Artsmark and Arts Award are the Arts Council flagship programmes for schools and children and young people, supported by Curious Minds.

Experience for Young People

Through our projects we aim to offer young people aged from 15 plus the chance to come and gain work experience in Education and Community Arts workshops, helping to support teachers and children involved in the sessions. Experience in stage management, front of house, stage production and technical operations may also be offered by AmaSing Projects CIC performances.
