Our Biggest Event to date!
We were so excited to organise the biggest children’s concert in Chester and first of its kind held at Chester Football Stadium in July. We brought 1500 young people together from 45 Cheshire primary schools to perform our unique songs which have been created in workshops with children and communities this year supporting their mental health through music and arts.

The event also included a fantastic performance for our very own Creative Arts Saturday School pupils. Our club is completely inclusive and to see the strides these children have made in their own personal journey has been inspiring. It was wonderful to see them performing on the main stage ! What an achievement.

The children and teachers have been working hard for the last 6 months in school learning our songs and dances which have been created in our Aspire workshops throughout 2023. The schools came together for a rehearsal with our amazing professional AmaSing band led by our Musical Director Andrew Smith, with lead west end vocalist Frances Dee, Lead Guitar James Dee, Bass Paul Adams and Drummer Stephen Carden Jones.
The children and teachers sang their hearts out and the sound they made was incredible. 9 songs were performed altogether which included Β Chester Zoo’s new campaign song “Rising”, The Cheshire school song “If You Believe”, “Unstoppable”, “We are a Rainbow”, “Queen Medley”, “Our Aspire Pop Medley”, “Be Who You Wanna Be” and “City of Miracles” The show concluded with a vibrant, uplifting performance of “Feel AmaSing in the Air” where we had 100 children accompanying the singing with 100 drums. It was a fantastic way to end the show.
Our show team was made up of volunteers, school teachers, youth ambassadors plus lots of family and friends who get roped in.
We are forever grateful to everyone who has helped out in any role big or small!
