We were thrilled to have been invited to perform at The BBC National Lottery big night of Musicals at The AO Arena for the opening act singing backing vocals for with Jason Manfold and Beverley Knight which was aired on BBC1 last Saturday
Some of our Amasing specialists, freelancers, past pupils and community groups came together to form our Amasing Adult Choir and sang their hearts out in the opening act of “The Greatest Show.”
It was a spectacular performance with other national lottery funded groups Mass Talent, Motion House and Tramshed Theatre.
We had an amazing 2 days rehearsing in the Arena with talented Choreographers Mark Jennings and Billy Sawer as well as singing with amazing Musical Director Jon Ranger and Freddie Tapner. It was amazing to see it all come together and we were in awe of the amazing production that was created.
A huge thank you to all the talented BBC and TBI media Creative team, Christian Storm, Jon Boydon, Joanne Dawes and Lily Alexander for creating this amazing opportunity for AmaSing which we will never forget!
