Amasing is delighted to have recently been awarded with some amazing awards for their work supporting mental health in young people using Arts.Rachael Borman AmaSing CEO has been awarded A High Sheriff Award from the wonderful Cheshire High Sheriff Jeannie France- Hayhurst for her service to the Community.

The High Sheriff surprised Rachael at one of AmaSing’s school composing workshops. This workshop was taking part at one of our partner groups The Ice Cream Farm venue where AmaSing were leading a sessions with 50 primary children representing 25 primary schools. In this workshop, collaborating together with The Ice Cream Farm staff and one of AmaSing professional composer James Dee and Creative Manager Kelly Stevens, created a brand new  uplifting song for the Ice Cream Farm brand.Everyone celebrated with Rachael and the team and enjoyed a delicious ice cream too.

The whole AmaSing team are incredibly proud of Rachael’s achievement and her dedication to creating exciting and inspiring new cultural opportunities for young people supporting their wellbeing, creativity and confidence. Keep up the good work Rach !

AMASING ARTS CHARITY AWARD 

AmaSing Arts Charity has also been awarded “Best Charity of the Year In Cheshire West 2022” from Cheshire Community Foundation.

This prestigious award came as a huge surprise when Rachael had been invited to one of their celebratory events and AmaSing Arts was awarded it for their work with schools and communities during the inclusive Connect Project throughout 2021 and 2022 where thousands of young people experienced a variety of arts projects supporting wellbeing in schools, at home and in communities.

The AmaSIng team are extremely grateful and would like to say a huge thank you to all the donors and The Cheshire Community Foundation who support our projects.

AmaSIng has also recently been nominated for the Music and Drama Education Awards 2023 in the “Rocksteady Award for Progressive and Inclusive Music Education” The award ceremony is taking place in February  in London so keep all your fingers and toes crossed for us and watch this space!!
