We are so delighted to have been awarded The Cheshire Voluntary Arts Award for Music 2019 for our projects working with 37 primary schools in Chester and Ellesmere Port promoting music, singing and the arts in schools and the local community. Through our project based around happiness and memories we were able to support 34 schools to gain their Artsmark registration and over 800 children gain an Arts Award Discover level funded by MBNA. We also supported 25 student teachers and 25 teachers to become Arts Advisors. Our shows were a sell out and enabled us to support charities Dementia UK, Young Minds UK and Chester Zoo. We are very proud of our achievement and can’t wait to plan future projects reaching more children and communities keeping arts alive in schools.
